Quality Checking

NHS England’s Quality Checkers programme enables people with Learning Disability and or autism to quality check health services.

They want people with learning disabilities to set up and run their own quality checking enterprises.

Speakeasy NOW applied to be one of 5 organisations in the pilot project.

We were really pleased to be selected to take part.

We will be trained to use an NHS England toolkit when carrying out health quality checks.

Quality Checkers will be supported in their role and paid a proper wage for the work they do.

We are still in the process of setting up this project. We are recruiting Quality Checkers to join our team and working with NHS England and the Association of Quality Checkers.
