The Partnership Board brings people with a learning disability, carers and professionals together. The job of the Partnership Board is to:
• Help decide what services are needed in Worcestershire
• Help decide how these services work
• Check on how well services are working
The Partnership Board has 8 sub-groups, each dealing with different issues. The membership of the Board and the sub-groups all include people with a learning disability. These people are paid to attend the meetings and are called Expert Members. An Expert Member also Co-chairs the meeting with a professional co-chair.
SpeakEasy N.O.W. employs the Expert members and supports them at the meeting. We also hold Expert Members sub-group meetings.
