Disability Awareness Training

We offer bespoke learning disability awareness training – to suit your requirements.

Our trainers are people with learning disabilities, who have lived experiences.  We have helped a wide range of organisations to understand what it means to have a learning disability and how important it is to think about how we communicate with each other.

Our training has been embraced by organisations who want to ensure that their customers and staff have the skills to communicate effectively.

Communication is a two way exchange which can be relayed in a variety of formats.

We can help you to make information more accessible – see the link below:

Here are some of the Learning Disability Awareness Training, that we have delivered:

  • Learning Disability Awareness sessions for pupils in mainstream education

  • Effective Communication Techniques and Learning Disability Awareness Workshops for  Housing Providers

  • Training for 2nd year Dental Students at Birmingham University  “Reasonable Adjustments for Patients”

  • Learning Disability Awareness for Health Providers, across Worcestershire Hospitals

  • Working with Organisations to ensure that content on their Websites is easier to understand

Our trainers, who have learning disabilities, share their lived experiences and their knowledge.

We can work with you to create bespoke training that meets the needs of your organisation.
